1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and World Informant ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Dyne Research. By accessing, browsing, or using the World Informant platform at worldinformant.com (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit access to users under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their access immediately.
You must not be located in a jurisdiction where access to this type of intelligence aggregation platform is prohibited by law.
3. Description of Service
World Informant is an open-source intelligence (OSINT) aggregation platform that compiles and displays publicly available data from third-party sources including, but not limited to:
- Live and near-live aviation tracking from publicly accessible transponder feeds
- Maritime vessel tracking from public AIS data streams
- Publicly accessible CCTV and traffic camera feeds operated by third-party governments, municipalities, and organizations
- Satellite tracking data derived from publicly available Two-Line Element (TLE) sets
- Seismic and natural disaster data from USGS, NASA EONET, and NOAA
- Geopolitical conflict event data from GDELT and publicly available news aggregators
- Market and commodity pricing data from public financial data providers
- Cybersecurity threat intelligence from public threat feeds
All data displayed is sourced exclusively from publicly available third-party sources. World Informant does not operate any surveillance infrastructure, does not collect or store raw camera imagery, and does not intercept any private communications.
4. No Warranty — Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Flight, ship, and satellite positions may be delayed, inaccurate, or represent historical rather than real-time data.
- Disaster, conflict, and threat data may be incomplete, unverified, outdated, or based on erroneous third-party reporting.
- Camera feeds may display outdated images, technical errors, or feeds from incorrect locations.
- Market and commodity data may not reflect current prices and must never be relied upon for trading or investment decisions.
- Any information shown as relating to military, government, or classified activities is derived solely from public sources and may be incorrect, misleading, or misattributed.
Under no circumstances should data from World Informant be used to make decisions involving human safety, national security, financial investment, legal strategy, medical treatment, or emergency response.
5. Prohibited Uses
You expressly agree that you will NOT use the Service or any data obtained from it for any of the following purposes:
- Violence or terrorism: Planning, facilitating, enabling, or supporting any act of violence, terrorism, armed conflict, insurgency, assassination, or mass casualty event.
- Stalking or harassment: Tracking, surveilling, or monitoring the movements of any individual using flight data, maritime data, camera feeds, or any other data for the purpose of stalking, harassment, intimidation, or domestic abuse.
- Law enforcement evasion: Using real-time tracking data to evade, obstruct, or interfere with law enforcement, border control, customs, or any government authority.
- Espionage or state-level intelligence operations: Using the platform as part of any state-sponsored, governmental, or intelligence agency operation without explicit written authorization from Dyne Research.
- Identification of individuals: Attempting to identify, de-anonymize, or compile personal dossiers on individuals visible in CCTV or camera feeds.
- Financial fraud or market manipulation: Using data from this platform to engage in insider trading, market manipulation, spoofing, or any form of financial fraud.
- Unauthorized scraping or data harvesting: Automated scraping, bulk downloading, reverse engineering, or redistribution of any data from the platform without written permission.
- Commercial redistribution: Reselling, licensing, or commercially exploiting data obtained from this platform without a written commercial license agreement.
- Defamation or disinformation: Using data from the platform to produce or spread false, misleading, or defamatory content about any individual, organization, or government.
- Any illegal purpose: Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
6. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice
Nothing on World Informant constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, medical advice, security or defense advice, journalistic verification, or any other form of professional counsel. Data displayed is for general informational and research purposes only.
You must independently verify all information before relying on it for any decision. We strongly recommend consulting qualified professionals in the relevant field.
7. Third-Party Data and Intellectual Property
World Informant aggregates data from numerous third-party sources. All such data remains the property of its respective owners and is subject to their own terms of use. We do not claim ownership over third-party data and make no representations about our right to display such data beyond good-faith reliance on its public availability.

The World Informant platform design, interface, codebase, branding, and original content are the intellectual property of Dyne Research. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any original platform content without written permission.
8. Camera Feeds and Privacy
Camera feeds displayed on the platform are sourced exclusively from publicly accessible cameras operated by third parties (governments, municipalities, transportation authorities). World Informant does not operate these cameras, does not store the imagery, and has no control over what is captured in the feeds.
You agree that you will not use camera feed access to:
- Identify, track, or surveil any individual
- Capture, screenshot, or record footage for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial viewing
- Distribute, publish, or broadcast any footage obtained through the platform
9. Limitation of Liability
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless World Informant, Dyne Research, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any harm caused to any third party as a result of your use of data obtained from the Service.
11. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the Service. The platform may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical failures, third-party API outages, or events outside our control. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from platform downtime or unavailability.
12. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service, at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, suspected illegal activity, or behavior deemed harmful to the platform, other users, or third parties.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Users outside India consent to personal jurisdiction in India for the resolution of any disputes.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
